Antioxidant (6PPD)/4020

As a type of rubber antioxidant specifically designed for sol rubber, 6PPD exhibits excellent compatibility with rubber matrices. It demonstrates minimal blooming, low volatility, and low toxicity. Additionally, it provides superior resistance to oxidation, ozone, bending cracks, and sun-induced cracking. This compound effectively inhibits the adverse effects of toxic metals such as copper and manganese, making it suitable for use in various types of synthetic and natural rubbers. In sizing materials, 6PPD shows strong absorbance without significantly affecting vulcanization processes. Furthermore, it softens sizing materials, enabling its application in diverse rubber products, including tires. It can also serve as a thermal oxygen stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene, and acrylic resins.
